RULES: All FA rules apply - unless otherwise stated.
REFEREE'S: The referee's decision is final. Please RESPECT and support them.
REGISTRATION: Teams must register 30 minutes before their respected kick off times. Proof of age may be sought if any dispute arises. Any team playing an ineligible player will be disqualified. No player shall play for more than one team within the same day.
AGE QUALIFICATION: Players must be under the age group of the team they are registered for as of mid-night on the 31st August in the 2024/25 playing season.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS:
U7s & U8s 5v5 Squad can consist of 8 players
U9s - U15s 6v6 Squad can consist of 9 players
U8s Girls - 7v7 Squad can consist of 10 players
PROTEST: All protests of disputed decisions must be made to the competition committee with 5 minutes of the end of the game accompanied with £25 cash protest fee. This fee is forfeited if the protest is not upheld. The committee's decision is final.
PLAYERS EQUIPMENT: Players not wearing shin pads will not be allowed to play. No jewellery of any kind shall be worn.
MATCH DURATION: All games will be 10 minutes one way unless otherwise stated.
TIME KEEPING: In order to allow our tournament to run on time and to schedule, if a side fail to show up in reasonable time for their fixture, a 2-0 win will be awarded to their opposition.
CHANGE OF COLOURS: The second named team in the programme should change colours if the referee deems necessary.
MATCH BALL: The first named team on the fixture will supply the match ball.
POINTS QUALIFICATION: Points will be awarded as follows:
win = 3pts, score draw = 2pts, no score draw 1pt, loss = 0pts
GROUP TABLE: Points will decide group table positions in the event of teams being level.
a) goal difference; if level then
b) goals scored; if level then
c) winner of head-to-head result; if then level
d) a penalty shoot-out will determine who goes through (3 penalties)
KNOCKOUT MATCHES: All knockout match - in the event of the scores being level at the end of normal time, the winner will be decided with a penalty shootout which will consist of 3 penalties each with sudden death if required.
BOOKINGS: any player that receives 2 yellow cards in the tournament will be suspended for 1 game. If a player receives a red card, they will be banned from all further games and may also be reported to the appropriate FA to consider further disciplinary action.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Port of Bristol Youth cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage or injury to any person or property at this event.
ALCOHOL: NO Alcohol to be consumed pitch side, please use the designated areas provided.
FINALLY
Please ensure all of your players and spectators are familiar with our rules to enable a smooth and enjoyable day out for everyone – especially the children!
Please ensure that all spectators respect the player’s space by not encroaching the touchlines. Any manager, team player or parent who approaches a referee on the field of play may have their team disqualified from the tournament.
By entering our tournament, all players and supporters consent to the likelihood of their photo being taken, which could appear on the internet.
Private BBQs are prohibited due to Health & Safety.
DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT THIS TOURNAMENT
